 British Residents Society Post Test Analysis

 

1 82 items were sent. 17 arrived (20.73%). All mail addresses as Mersin 10, Turkey
   
2 The 17 that arrived took between 5 & 8 days
   
3 4 letters sent from Dumfries to St Andrew's Church, Kyrenia Post Box did not arrive although all 5 sent from Durham to the same address did arrive
   
4 A check was made at Lapta Post Office re missing mail, both PK and house addresses, with the certificates of posting but none had arrived in Lapta
   
5 Letters were sent from widely spaced locations in England, Scotland and Wales
   
6 Letters were sent to both PK and house addresses and in both cases some arrived but most did not
   
7 Letters were sent from one location to up to 5 locations, from one location to another location and from various locations to a common location. There did not seem to be a pattern
   
8 Mail outside the test but sent to one of the test houses in December took between 5 and 15 days. Most mail arrives at the delivery office on the same day it is franked in Girne but can take 3 days or more from Lefkosa to Girne
