Mince  Pies and Mulled Wine

On Saturday, 12 December the British Residents’ Society entertained members and friends with ‘Christmas Cheer’ at St. Andrew’s Church Hall. The Hall was decked with seasonal ornaments, a twinkling Christmas tree  and had colourful plants on the tables.  Delicious mulled wine prepared by Mike Daykin and mince pies cooked by Shelly were much enjoyed as members caught up with friends and recently joined members had a chance to meet new people.    The Committee were pleased to welcome Major John Lemon, Defence Attache B.H.C, Kemal Munir, retired Director of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Mr. Elicos Liatsos among many other friends.
