Lunch Held for B.R.S. Life Members

On Thursday, 19 November, the British Residents’ Society held a lunch for its Life Members and Honorary Life Members at the Pia Bella Hotel.  

In glorious autumn sunshine 70 members and guests enjoyed a drink and met up with old friends.   A particularly happy reunion was that between Honorary Life Member Mr. Rauf Denktas and 102 year old Mrs. Peggy McAlpine.   Other Honorary Life Members attending were Mr. and Mrs. Taner Erginel, and the recently retired Committee members Pat Holmes and Brenda green.   A delicious lunch was enjoyed by everyone.

The B.R.S. presented  all the Life Members with colourful plants and Iktisat Bank generously gave each of them a  box of chocolates .
